Illustration for my poem on eugenics "The Unfulfilled Utopia"
Guess this wouldn't be a bad time to share the poem.

The Unfulfilled Utopia
Eugenics,
pertinent, sterilized perfectly perfected
Perfection is in
the eye of the beholder
Whose eyes do you
gaze from?
From which stage
do you stand on?
Mom, mommy!
Calling from the pits of “could have been”
Parenthood is a
dying concept
What village
raises your child?
From what
perspective do you stand?
Generational
genius genocide reside – on the banks of the other side
Pointing fingers
provide, some moments of distraction
Who is pointing
at you?
Fingers can
misconstrue
Crudely crunching
on glass
Shiny is not
always so good
How much do you
shine?
Jaws can eat a
shark
Uninvolved
involuntary murder for a murderer
No Choice for the
murdered
No Choice for the
mother
No Choice for any
other
No Choice for
living conditions
No Choice for
ideas
No Choice for
time
No Choice for
truth
A mother died
today inside
With wiped tears
to hide
An involuntary
choice
Decisions
controlled by a silent voice
No remorse when
it is planned
Raising a raped
child with no chance for a child
While wild men
run free
Chances cut short
at the knees
Sterilized
sufferance, suffocation, staged sophistication
Erasing
eradication equating
Apathy apparently
an asshole asinine
Felt so inclined
to take lives
Murder guised under
the umbrella of Christianity
Murder guised
under the umbrella of Order
Murder guised
under the umbrella of Freedom
Murder guised
under the umbrella of a Perfect Dream
Love…suffocated
by the hand of hate
Love…crushed by a
thought of perfection
Love…killed by
angry eyes in a crowd
Love…Murdered
------
Can be revived
